Charlie Fletcher, President, Fletcher Consulting LLC

Charlie Fletcher is the President/CEO of Fletcher Consulting, LLC.  His corporate experience includes executive positions with Boeing (major defense contractor), Alion (major technology firm), McLane Advanced Technologies (software development company) and Wounded Warrior Project (Veterans Service Organization).  While serving in these corporate positions, he also served as the first NATO Logistics Senior Mentor teaching, coaching and advising organizations throughout Europe for several exercises each year.  His corporate experience includes capture management, information systems, supply chain operations, spectrum engineering, technology integration, modeling/simulation, crisis management and mission command training. His most recent corporate work is in corporate recovery.  In both the Wounded Warrior Project and McLane Advanced Technologies, he took over companies who had experienced dramatic setbacks and turned them around.  His logistics experience includes every aspect of international supply chain operations.  From his early days managing government operations at the Port of Long Beach, to decades later serving as the senior government official managing transportation contracts throughout the Middle East, he developed unique subject matter expertise.  His Boeing commercial experience included creating Boeing’s Logistics Services Business Area, winning a billion dollar contract consolidating British Military logistics information infrastructure and building a billion dollar supply chain capability within Saudi Arabia’s Economic Cities.  With Alion, he managed a diverse portfolio of spectrum engineering, IT, training, simulation and logistics management across a broad base of government customers

During his three decades of military service, he served in a variety of aviation, logistics and operational assignments that included eight command tours and combat tours in Iran (1979), Desert Storm (1990) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) (2003).  In OIF, he was both the initial logistics planner and commander of 20K soldiers during the invasion.  His final assignments were J3 at US Transportation Command and the Commanding General of its Army component, SDDC.  His qualifications include rotary-wing aviator & test pilot with over 2,000 flying hours,

He is married to Dale Anne Fletcher, a Fairfax County Public Health Nurse.  They have three children: Charles studying at Harvard Law & Public Policy, Army LT Michael assigned to the 173rd ABN in Italy & Marie studying at Ole Miss.
