About Us

Welcome to the Code of Support Foundation (COSF), where we are dedicated to serving our nation’s heroes. Our mission is to provide critical one-on-one assistance to veterans, military members, and their families, ensuring they receive the support and resources they’ve earned through their service and sacrifice. We envision a world where no veteran, military member, or their family member is left without the support they need.

Through our no-cost network, PATRIOTlink®, we put critically needed resources right at the fingertips of veterans, while our team provides personal and sustained hands-on support with their cases. At Code of Support, we know veterans and where to find help, constantly striving to match veterans with the right resources in the right way at the right time to get families back on their feet.

Our Story

Major General Alan Salisbury, USA (ret.), co-founded the Code of Support Foundation in 2011 to address the critical need for comprehensive support for military and veteran families. Recognizing the struggles and complexities these families face, COSF was established to provide wrap-around and direct case management services for those at risk of suicide and other negative outcomes. The vision of Salisbury and COSF is to unite civilian America, military America, and support organizations to strengthen the health of our nation, ensuring that our service members, veterans, and their families share in the quality of life they have earned and that all Americans deserve.
