Alexandria, VA – For the first time since its establishment in 2011, The Code of Support Foundation has been approved to participate in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). The recent step forward for the young nonprofit will help repel it into the years to come.

The CFC is an employee focused program specialized in helping government employees connect with nonprofits. The process, broken down, is simple and direct. Employees may access the CFC database and view profiles of tens of thousands of nonprofits that they may donate to, or recommend to their governmental agencies. This crucial resource allows employees to seek out the nonprofits rather than vice versa. The CFC season of giving runs annually from September 1st to December 15th.

The staff at Code of Support is exited at the prospect of potential new donors and an untapped revenue stream. Code of Supports Executive Director Kristine Kaufman comments on the news “Getting accepted to become a part of the CFC is the perfect way to gain access to a new audience not only for fundraising purposes, but so our mission can be understood by more people.”

Code of Support Foundation and their team of case managers provide one on one assistance to veterans and service members in need. Through intense analysis and the use of PATRIOTlink®, their process includes going deeper than the immediate problem so that clients are set up for lifelong success. Code of Support offers unique and specific assistance, understanding that all service members and their families are unique.

Code of Support is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides comprehensive assistance to veterans, service members and their families. The organization works with all veterans from any service area, regardless of discharge status. For more information visit codeofsupport.org or call Matt Lockwood at (571)-295-8651.
