Code of Support Foundation announced Court Ogilvie, the organization’s former Chief Operating Officer (COO) and current Acting Executive Director, will serve as the permanent Executive Director (ED) of the Foundation. Code of Support was founded in 2011 to connect military and veteran families to the critical resources they need. Court will continue leading a team of case managers and service delivery professionals dedicated to serving veterans nationwide.

Over the past 12 years, Code of Support has helped tens of thousands of military families, supported them through challenging times, and ensured they receive the benefits they have earned through their service and sacrifice. Code of Support provides one-on-one case management and easy access to free, verified resources through its PATRIOTlink® solution and search engine. The Foundation’s team focuses on needs such as housing, food, mental health support, VA benefits, and caregiver support. In the first three months of 2023, Code of Support has served more veterans than at any similar period in its history.

“On behalf of the Board of Trustees, staff, and volunteers of Code of Support Foundation, I want to thank Court for his leadership through the transition and his outstanding dedication to the military and veteran families we are privileged to serve. Recent successes, like our Mission Daybreak Challenge award, reinforce how essential our work is, particularly for those with complex challenges. Moving forward, Court will lead the team and our mission as we look to make the greatest possible impact for veterans in need.” said Hon. Bob Speer, Chair of the Board of Trustees, and former Acting Secretary of the Army.

“Veterans in crisis often need both a personal touch and access to resources, which is why we provide both one-on-one support and lists of verified resources through our resource network, PATRIOTlink®,” said Court Ogilvie, ED. “I thank our donors, funders, and partners who make our services possible and stand with us in our commitment to support all those who have served our country. Together with our partners, we will continue to work to expand access to life-saving resources for all veterans, caregivers, and family members.”

“The case managers and I share Court’s vision for Code of Support to continue to grow and serve more military families. We are privileged to ensure those who serve our country receive the benefits they have earned. I am proud of the positive impact we are having in the lives of military and veteran families every day,” said Allyson Bowers, Team Lead for Case Management.

Court Ogilvie joined Code of Support in 2019 and brings more than 20 years of nonprofit executive leadership for high-impact, public-service missions. Prior to COSF, Court served as Chief Operating Officer for the National Military Family Association, and spent 15 years at the American Red Cross in enterprise-level roles that include leadership of disaster relief operations, fundraising, and support of the military. Court is a child of a career Army aviator and engineer, and he brings a strong personal commitment to ensuring our military families receive the help they deserve. He received a B.S. in Management and a Minor in English from Virginia Tech, and continues to speak and present extensively on the topics of veteran service and nonprofit leadership.
