SAMHSA’s Service Members, Veterans, and their Families (SMVF) Technical Assistance (TA) Center is hosting a series of calls for all team members involved in the VA/SAMHSA Governor’s and Mayor’s Challenge to Prevent Suicide Among SMVF. From July to August 2020, state/community teams, and their community partners, are invited to participate in web-based, virtual TA sessions that will focus on current best practices in suicide prevention for SMVF, including tips for implementation, outcomes and lessons learned.
Code of Support’s CEO and co-founder, Kristina Kaufmann, alongside Cohen Veterans Network’s Caitlin Thompson, have been chosen to virtually present “The New Status Quo Promoting Connectedness for SMVF”. This portion of the series will air August 31, 2020, 12:30 – 2:30 PM EST.
Code of Support is thrilled to have been invited to participate, provide insight, and share how the foundation changes lives y connecting military, veterans, caregivers and families to the support they need and have earned.
