1. What is your job at COSF?

I oversee PATRIOTlink®, a resource database tailored to the needs of the military and veteran community.  I plan new features for the platform, help develop partnerships, and manage my amazing team.

2. What is your favorite part of your job?

I really enjoy brainstorming new features for PATRIOTlink and figuring out how those new features solve problems.  A close second is demo-ing the platform to people who have never seen it before.  It’s great to see their reaction when they realize there is a tool out there that can make such a difference in their lives.

3. What are some tasks you do on a daily basis?

A good portion of my day is spent on PATRIOTlink.  I review our user and search data, and I also am checking for any bugs or issues a user might have.  Another large portion of my day is spent planning for strategic initiatives.  We have a huge marketing project coming up, so that’s been my focus lately.

4. How has being a military spouse impacted your work?

The obvious answer is that I am constantly moving.  For example, we are now stationed in England, an entire ocean away from our office, but you make it work.  Being a military spouse teaches you flexibility since you’ll just never know where you’ll end up next.

5. Who inspires you?

My mom. She is a strong, fearless woman.  She’s traveled to almost every continent; learned to speak fluent Spanish in her 40s; and she owns her own business.  I am so lucky to have her in my life.
