IT TAKES SOMEONE WHO IS DEDICATED, RELIABLE, AND INNOVATIVE TO MANAGE THE BEHIND THE SCENES OF CODE OF SUPPORT FOUNDATION. TODAY WE WANT TO RECOGNIZE COURT! WE APPRECIATE ALL THE WORK COURT DOES TO KEEP COSF RUNNING SMOOTHLY. WE ARE SO GRATEFUL HE IS PART OF OUR TEAM!

1. What is your job at COSF?

As the COO, I am responsible for mission delivery and for all of our back office systems.

2. What is your favorite part of your job?

I love being able to help people in need. It’s why we are all here, and it’s great to be a part of an organization with an important mission!

3. What are some tasks you do on a daily basis?

I spend a lot of time looking at how our clients engage with us. Are we easy enough to find, are we helping in the right ways, and are there ways we can be more efficient and more effective.

4. How has being a military child impacted your work?

I try hard to relate to the parts of military life that are challenging–and rewarding–for military children. I wouldn’t trade my military child experience for anything, but the frequent moves and the uncertainty can definitely be stressful. I keep a photo of one of our client families on my desk, and I look at that photo all the time to remind me why we do what we do.

5. Who inspires you?

I am inspired by military spouses. Obviously the service member is literally on the front lines and I am inspired by their service and sacrifice, but what military spouses (and partners) do is amazing, too. I was too young to appreciate what my mom did while my dad was off to war, but looking back I can see just how hard a job that must have been…and I am totally inspired by what military spouses are doing today. They are an amazing group of resourceful and strong people!
