Summary

Founded in 2011, Code of Support Foundation (COSF) is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides essential and critical one-on-one assistance to those struggling service members, veterans and their families who have the most complex needs. June 2018 COSF launched a SaaS solution, PATRIOTlink, to support the military community and those who serve them. This is an exciting time to join COSF and help deploy PATRIOTlink to new users to support our military community.  Reporting to the PATRIOTlink Program Director, the Account Executive (AE) will be responsible for communicating virtually and telephonically with veteran service organizations and agencies to complete the entire B2B sales life cycle.

The AE position will support the PATRIOTlink program by driving  sales goals and discovering customer needs. The AE will partner closely with the executive leadership team to chart COSF growth and strategic response to an ever increasing demand for the organization's services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Drive entire sales cycle from prospecting to deal closing with emphasis on high volume deals

  • Owning sales goals and discovering customer needs

  • Secure new users for PATRIOTlink SaaS platform

  • Grow and maintain business within assigned prospects

  • Develop thorough knowledge of clients, which may include nonprofits, state governments, etc.

  • Exceed B2B revenue targets by selling Premium and Enterprise subscriptions

  • Present the PATRIOTlink vision and product virtually to decision makers and service providers

  • Assist in gathering client feedback, defining processes and identifying best practices

  • Special projects to support COSF when needed

  • Other responsibilities as requested by the Program Director

Education and or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of account management or account-based selling in the SaaS space

  • Knowledge of military culture and experience in a the nonprofit sector a plus

  • Demonstrable and proven experience retaining and expanding accounts

  • Track record of exceeding quotas

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Excellent verbal communication skills are required

  • Ability to multi-task across multiple projects and internal stakeholders

  • Thorough working knowledge of CRMs such as Hubspot

  • B2B sales experience

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Convince and command on the phone to quickly establish credibility and rapport

  • Understand and anticipate clients’ business needs to drive the success of key accounts

  • Familiar with military culture or military support organizations

The AE is regularly required to talk or hear, frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
