Service...the very word strikes an emotional chord because it is not simply a word. It's a commitment. A personal sacrifice. A sense of duty.

To commemorate the tenth anniversary of 9/11, a team from the Code of Support Foundation carried that passion for ten days, to towns across the nation on a 3,000 mile journey from the California coast to the Pentagon in Washington D.C.

We are faced with a problem. Our military and our civilians are experiencing a great divide.  During the Vietnam era, it was a political divide. Today, it is a societal one. We simply do not have similar experiences, do not speak the same language, and as a result, find it hard to relate to each other.
