2023 Summer Case Coordination Intern
Code of Support Foundation (COSF) is a veteran service organization that provides essential one-on-one assistance to service members, veterans, and their families. COSF operates three programs – Case Coordination, PATRIOTlink®, and Education and Engagement. The Case Coordination program works one-on-one with clients to help them find the resources they need, while our PATRIOTlink program offers an online solution to find resources. The Education and Engagement program works to increase public awareness and appreciation of the service and sacrifice of military and veteran families.
COSF seeks a part-time intern (20 hours per week) to assist the Case Coordination program. Specifically, the Case Coordination program works one-on-one with service members, veterans, caregivers and military family members who are in crisis situations. Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, our team has seen a 30% increase in need for assistance – making this internship absolutely essential.
The start and end date are flexible, and would last approximately 10 weeks. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, problem solver who enjoys working with a small team and is looking to gain experience working in support of clients.
This is a PAID internship through the Federal Work Study Program, OR this is a PAID internship with a $2000 STIPEND for the entire 10 week period, and this opportunity is fully virtual.
Major Responsibilities – The Case Coordination internship will primarily focus on client outreach and database administration. The internship may include:
