Gadson<\/h2>\n<\/div>\nIn celebration of Black History Month, the Code of Support Foundation honors the courage and service of Black veterans who have played a pivotal role in our nation’s history. We are inspired by the journey of Col. Gregory D. Gadson, a testament to the resilience and bravery of those who served with distinction while advocating for equality and justice.<\/p>\n
Col. Gadson’s remarkable journey through more than 25 years of devoted military service reached a pinnacle as he led the 2nd Battalion, 32nd Field Artillery. In Iraq, amidst the heat of battle, he faced an unimaginable challenge when an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) attack inflicted severe injuries, costing him both legs above the knees and significantly affecting the use of his right arm and hand.<\/p>\n
This adversity did not mark the end of his story but rather the beginning of an inspiring chapter of resilience, courage, and unwavering spirit. Col. Gadson is a strong advocate for veterans with disabilities and serves as a mentor for sports teams and various non-profit organizations. His experience has fostered motivation in countless individuals and has given him great compassion for veterans in need. Code of Support is proud to have Col. Gadson as a member of our advisory board.
