Honor our Post-9/11 Women Veterans
The Women's Memorial
From 8AM - 9AM
On September 11th we will be holding a special ceremony at the Women in Military Service For America Memorial to honor all of our Post-9/11 Women Veterans. Right now the Wall features 160 unfilled pots representing the number of female service members who have lost their lives in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. On the morning of September 11th, we will be placing the remaining 160 flowers into the Wall to memorialize their sacrifice. We would appreciate your attendance at this event to show support for all of our women veterans and servicemembers who have and continue to proudly serve our country.

Bridging the divide between civilian and military America
It has become increasingly popular in recent years, especially since the events of 9/11, for Americans to say that they "support the troops." This is evidenced by countless bumper stickers, yellow ribbons and other visible icons. But what does it really mean to "support the troops"? How can the average American give real meaning to those three simple words?
The Code of Support Foundation (COSF) works to engage and leverage the full spectrum of this nation’s resources to ensure that our service members, veterans and their families receive the support they need and have earned through their service and sacrifice.
