The FTC can use information from reported scams to spot current trends, build cases against scammers, and educate the public to prevent further incidents.

Cybercrime Support Network (CSN) supports individuals and small businesses through FightCyberCrime.org, a resource database for those affected by CyberCrime and online fraud. FightCyberCrime can help you recognize, report and recover from many different kinds of scams and fraud.
