This month, COSF staff was invited by The White House to discuss the progress of Executive Order 13861: The President’s Roadmap to Empower Veterans and End a National Tragedy of Suicide (PREVENTS). To date, the task force has conducted over 150 meetings with subject matter experts, as well as reviewed over 1,000 responses to a national Request for Information (RFI). The Roadmap currently remains in the research stage, but COSF looks forward to continuing to work with The PREVENTS Task Force, including Executive Director Dr. Barbara Van Duhlen, to help end the suicide epidemic among our nation’s heroes.
