Code of Support would like to take this moment to share a story. Once the pandemic hit last year, this lovely family found themselves facing hardship after hardship and had no where else to turn…
“Code of Support immediately responded when I reached out to them for help paying our electric bill that was past due. 2020 was incredibly stressful for our family and I hated getting behind and needing help. But we reached our limit for what we could shoulder on our own.
My husband is a disabled veteran who was medically retired for his combat injuries, and we also have the added issue that our kids and I have long lasting injuries from a car accident. Because of everyone in our house needing help and care that makes us unable to work outside of the home. 2020 also brought more health complications for a member of our family – which of course means more copays, more money traveling to appointments and unimaginable worry for us as parents.
I was hoping to get help on a portion of the electric bill so we would be less behind. Code of Support blew us away when they took care of the whole thing.
I could instantly breathe easier.
It’s like we have a fresh start for the new year. We are all so thankful for this incredible gift. It means we can focus on health and healing instead of worrying about what part of our budget we would pull from to try and catch up on that bill, or how long it will take to get caught up. It was feeling like we would just always be behind. This allows us now to pay copays and buy groceries.
Thank you so much to Code of Support and your generous donors. I have not felt this relieved in at least a year.“
