CODE OF SUPPORT FOUNDATION SERVES VETERANS, MILITARY FAMILIES, AND MILITARY CAREGIVERS. OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND RESOURCES FOR THOSE WHO SERVED. KATHERINE JOINED COSF IN 2020 AND HAS BEEN AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE TEAM SINCE.

What is your job at COSF?

I am the Data Specialist at COSF, so I work across all teams to support their technology and reporting needs while managing our internal systems. From data entry to dashboards, I ensure that people have what they need to do their jobs smoothly.

What is your favorite part of your job?

My favorite part of my job is being able to support everyone at COSF, as cliche as that sounds, with the important work they do to reach and help those in need of our services.

Why are you passionate about the military/veteran community?

My Grandfather was a World War II veteran with the Air Force, and my parents were his caregivers until he passed when I was 10. He was mostly bed-bound, blind, and diabetic, so some days were worse than others. Not everyone is so lucky to have family that is able to take care of them, that’s why I’m dedicated to supporting the COSF team with my skillset.

Who inspires you?

I’m not someone who has an inspirational figure that I look up to. Instead, it’s the world around me that keeps me going and striving for better things. Even in these uncertain times, I see people around me doing the best they can to make the world that much brighter, and that gives me hope that things can get better with enough time and effort.
